Mapping the Journey
Although each forgiveness journey is unique, people who embark on the journey often share similar experiences. Stages of forgiveness have been identified by psychologists, for example. It helps to know what you can expect, in terms of both your inward journey, or what you will be feeling, experiencing, and thinking; and in terms of the outward journey, or how other people may react.
